Razorscale gets taken down after a couple of attempts. Some things to note about the video. Since it was our first kill, I was being overly cautious with my positioning, trying not to chain fireballs from Razorscale on to more than myself.
Also I had just switched specs (Woo dual specs) to MM and forgot to turn on Trueshot Aura. But since we had other buffs in that category, no biggie.

How did you do as marks? Dps comparable to SV? I haven’t taken the time to try it out since I haven’t had a real raid encounter to test my SV damage, so I’m curious.

A bunch of us in my guild ran into Ulduar this week completely strat-less. None of us had read any information on any of the bosses heading in, and as such found a quirk to this fight that alot of people may be missing.
Across all our attempts, we were able to get his flame patch to target the SAME PERSON 100% of the time. As you can imagine, this drops the failure rate from people dying to blue flames to almost 0.
The person he targets for his flame patch attack is the person who is currently closest to him.
During the first phase 1, this is easy. He is directly overhead in the centre of the circle on the ground. We just have a hunter stay in the circle, and everyone else stay outside. Problem solved. It gets a little trickier in the second phase 2, since he moves. Just pay attention to where, and make sure your “flame target” is the closest person to him and ready to move at a moments notice.
