Sorry it’s been quiet around here lately. But here is another boss video from Ulduar. This time it’s the 4 phases that make up the Mimiron encounter!
The kill was going very well, but it became very sloppy at the end. Remember this is the video of our first kill, so it will definitely be smoother as time goes on. :) Enjoy!
Thoughts, comments, etc. Post ‘em as always!

What did you do to make sure you out-aggroed the DPS while you kited the Assault Bots?
Nice job though, this is giving us some trouble on 10man and have yet to try him on 25man.
Hesston’s last blog post..< Summit > progression (25-man)
I just unloaded DPS into him and the melee DPS was responsible for not going crazy and pulling off me because they knew they would die. In 10-man, we just tanked them though.
Where you tammed that pet? =)
and gratz for kill Mimiron
It was summoned creature from some mobs down in Dustwallow Marsh that required some . . . unique taming techniques. Unfortunately Blizzard took out the ability to get them as pets.
Cyclone by the Dub Pistols right?
I seem to remember it from a certain Blood Furnace video.
@Shmii It sure is. I have to pick music that Youtube won’t disable due to WMG or whoever. Dub Pistols is one of the safe ones. :)
I do so love your choice of music, as usual.
The Mimiron encounter has to be one of my favourites so far even though kiting bots is kinda… meh and the fight turned out to be quite a pet killer for me. My poor wolf just kept dying on me no matter what I did…
@Nikua I originally tried to keep him away from the fight but Mend pet wasn’t enough. Keeping him in the thick of the battle with even 1 point in Bloodthirsty was enough to keep him alive when he caught the occasional PoM bounce or what not.
Regarding the Assault Bots: Haven’t seen the video yet, but i usually start off with a freezing arrow on the spawnsite – which you clearly can see because of the orange shimmer before it spawns.
That gives me 3 Explosive shots to start with – nothing usually beats that opening.
Yeah, I tried to keep him away for a while as well but kept getting hit by that random fire ae (I forget what it`s called) in phase 1. He kept dying even when I had him attack the boss, despite mend pet and 1 point in Bloodthirsty, but since it’s worked for you, maybe that was just bad luck. Anyway, I hear the fight’s been nerfed recently so maybe it’s become a little more pet friendly.
gz on your first kill, its a really fun encounter and with some practice pets can stay alive =)
nice to see him not randomly do his barrage on people in p4 like he did with us in the last week \o/
Yeah, from what everyone was saying in general chat and Twitter that night, we got really lucky he didn’t bug out on us.
