Not more than 3 minutes later…..
Oy. After all that time I spent camping that guy. The all nighter. Here he was, just minding his own business. I was spiteful!
And after there wasn’t a single Hunter in the zone who wanted his spawn I decided the Medium Rare achievement would be mine.
I am going to try and do a ctach-up post about what’s going on the PTR tomorrow. Sorry about the bad picture quality.
I just tamed him last friday, after having camped him pretty regularly for a month. Just got home from work, logged into to circle the basin a few times, did one complete circuit and lo and behold, there he was by the gorillas.
I must admit, that made my whole week. :D
After camping him for a solid week during my x-mas break i saw him twice so far again. Both within 5 minutes of entering Sholazar Basin. Might be due to surv>BM or just luck.
This is why we should never play alts. I have made it a rule to stay out of Sholazar on all my alts, because if this happened I would cry.

Aaaargh, the SAME thing happened to me, Drotara. I’ve spent a month searching for this guy. My alt was at Sholazar, mining, about five days after I got him. And the he was, just hangin’ around. I killed him with all the power I could muster, every single cooldown burned.
It felt goood haha
Ah, let me ask you something. Can you tell us something about the Spirit Beast in 3.1 ? I’m hoping for good news, dont want to leave this beautifull pet in the stables.

I don’t have yet that pet and yes… after one month of camping I give up. Since I’m doing the loremaster achivements I’m away from northrend. But now I see that random it’s realy odd!

Check out Gondria, rumor is that it’s another Spirit Beast located in Zul’Drak and looks like a cat without any model detailing.
“Pets now inherit more spell hit from the hunter. Pets with magic attacks should not require a player to stack additional hit compared to pets with physical attacks.” From the 3.1 Patch notes as well.

Whats that cool DK mod? gunna get it when i start mine up next week.
Same thing happened to me while mining with my DK this weekend.
But I logged out the DK (20 seconds of hell), logged on my hunter.. in Dalaran.
Flew for what felt like a lifetime and with a preatty high pulse to Nesingwary Camp, spawned just southeast of it. And..
..it was still there.
Bye bye original MC Core Hound, welcome Druid-wannabe.
Then I think I passed out for a few seconds of all the tension..
