My Last Patchwerk in Naxx10 i went to, i did an stunning 4,496 dps when the fight was over, and i still dont have the Glyph of Explosive shot, and nor did i have as good gear as i have now (i had blues shoulders, the LW Crafted Bracers, Mirror of truth trinket instead of FotFF) so overall pretty much Crafted/Naxx10 gear

can't wait to get Full Naxx25/Ulduar gear and push out 6k dps in that fight!!, or more(in Naxx25 ofc)

I used to be marks but thats a mana hig now and BM got nerfed except for when im with my friend who kicks my crap everytime :-( its getting frustrated, but i rally want to be a top 3 at least in groups and right now im sucking up a storm.

Well there are a few important things to note. Maintaining Serpent Sting to keep your Steady Shot glyph working as well as keeping Noxious Stings effect up.

Also during Lock and Load, go ES – SS – ES to make sure the final tick of Explosive is not over-written. When firing Steady Shots, if you are going to start another Steady Shot but Explosive Shot will finish during the cast time, wait for ES instead. With ES comprising 35-40% of Survival DPS it should be top priority in your rotation.

Im using ES-SS-SS-SS-EP as my rotation, and doing the ES when in LNL

im actually better geared than some of the guys i see putting up 3k dps in some heroics, and my cat is specced ferocity. Some councel pls im about to really just drop this toon lol.

Wyvern Sting – Noxious Stings

Since you’ll probably be using Serpent Stings for the Glyph anyway, these 4 Talents will give you an additional 3% damage to all other shot while the target is stinged. With a bonus CC ability on top. Fair enough.
Wyvern sting is currently “bugged” in that if a mob is immune to the CC portion of it, it won’t apply the damage portion. It used to apply the damage portion of the sting after the big “IMMUNE” popped up, but no longer seems to do this. Sad too, because it does ~3.1k damage over 6 seconds before any scaling. That’s probably worth the GCD and the loss of Noxious Stings for 6 seconds, although you’ll have to carefully watch your rotation to work it in.”

That is still the case. I ask because I’ve noticed a LOT of ppl putting points in Wyvren/Noxious and I couldn’t understand why. Does it now give you 3% more dps overall? Anyone know?
