It was a rough night of raiding last night. We recently ditched Comcast in favor of Qwest for a few reasons. Comcast was too expensive and I didn’t agree with them on principle. However last night I was getting terrible lag and upwards of 50% packet loss for most of the night which turned into a lot of disconnects. I didn’t get to Fraps Hyjal since it was lagging for me, but I did Fraps High Warlord Naj’entus since the Internet was stable for the duration of that fight. I didn’t finish cutting it together so I am going to finish and upload it tonight.
So yeah, Internet problems are not fun. In other news, my wife hit 58 and subsequently 59 after about 45 minutes of being in Hellfire Peninsula in which she replaced 4 pieces of gear or so in 4 quests. While dealing with the lag. Grr.
I would recommend heading over to Mania’s site and reading about the Growl testing going on. Short post today.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns feel free to let me know. Have a great day!

It wasn’t just you either. I logged in right after the servers went up yesterday and was D/C’ed more times than I could count at Sunwell, it really was awful. And when I finally got out of there the lagging everywhere else just forced me to quit until later in the evening to get my dailies out of the way.
That’s pretty much what I did. Going over our WWS reports I was able to record a whooping 1.5 million damage for Supremus. :)
fraps?
oh no!

also, do you have aim? i’d like to talk to you about the hunter class sometime.
I saw that actually, and promptly scanned my computer. I have an older version so I believe I was OK. I don’t have AIM, I only use Google Talk at this point. But I am sure we could arrange something. Shoot me an e-mail sometime and set something up.
