It’s Business Time!

It’s Business Time!

“You know how I know baby? ‘Cuz it’s Wednesday.”

If you haven’t seen Flight of the Conchords yet, I highly recommend it. :) For example, “Business Time.” All of their songs are hilarious. I watch them a lot.

But this does have a point, sort of. A little bit. Vaguely. It was business time for our guild last night. So Al’ar has been a pain for us. Until last night. We took him down, and Moirainne picked up a Tome of Fiery Redemption. New Boss #1.

Since we killed Al’ar while I had the disguise on for “Ruse of the Ashtongue”, I now have the next step in the chain to kill Rage Winterchill. If only we could go to Hyjal . . . oh yeah. :D Guess that quest will wait till next week.

We ventured back to Mount Hyjal to see about owning up the place some more. So we decided to kill Kaz’rogal. Which we did. Our other Hunter picked up Beast-tamer’s Shoulders. Sweet action. New Boss #2.

Well, what did we do after that? The only other logical thing you would do of course.

We went to Black Temple. And what did we do there? We kill High Warlord Naj’entus of course. :) New Boss #3.

At the end of the night, we can say that we are 5/6 SSC, 3/4 The Eye, 3/5 Mount Hyjal, and 1/8 Black Temple. And given this awesome turn of events, I may not even bother gemming or enchanting my Trollbane because I smell a Halberd of Desolation in my future. :D Tonight is “Kill Lady Vashj” night.

I am kind of curious about the effectiveness of a Beast Mastery set that emphasizes on Armor Penetration. Armor Penetration is not a linear DPS increase as it might seem. For example, in PvP a Warrior loading a cloth-wearer up with 5 Sunders will have a much larger effect on DPS than sticking them on a Paladin or Druid. I guess you can say not all armor values are created equal. But at the same time, anything that ignores more armor than the target has is useless, similar to being over the hit cap. So I am going to make a thread on the Hunter forums and see if I can get some smart Hunters to help me do some crunching of numbers.
